Guide — the invisible-horse dance and a counter that breaks
One, three or five cartoon dancers, four scenes, a view counter that overflows and an optional original chiptune. A canvas tribute with original art and sound. The page opens on Disco (colour-cycling, 3 dancers). Choose Stage (solo), Disco, Stadium (5 dancers) or VHS (sepia with specks), or press 1 to 4.
The Dancers menu picks 1 (solo), 3 (crew) or 5 (squad). Tempo (1 to 10) speeds up the gallop, the lasso and the chiptune, which runs from 134 to 188 BPM.
The View counter starts at 812,000,000 and races upwards until it passes 9,999,999,999, then flickers “∞ OVERFLOW”. That takes about half a minute at the default tempo; switching it off and on, or changing scene, restarts it.
Switch on Chiptune or press M for an original loop made live with the Web Audio API. Toggle Confetti, Captions (C) and Scanlines.
Press Enter Fullscreen, click the scene or press F. Space pauses, R resets to Disco, and Esc or the Exit Fullscreen button (shown when you move the mouse) leaves.

Gangnam Style, explained
What is the Gangnam Style meme?
“Gangnam Style” is a 2012 single by South Korean singer PSY. Its music video, with the “invisible horse” gallop dance, became a worldwide craze and in December 2012 was the first YouTube video to pass one billion views. In December 2014 YouTube said it had passed 2,147,483,647 views, the most a 32-bit counter can hold, and that it had upgraded its view counter to 64 bits. This screensaver is a playful original tribute to that horse-dance craze and the counter story.
Does it play the song or show the artist?
No. The dancer is an original cartoon character, not a depiction of any real person, and the optional music is an original chiptune, not the song. No copyrighted music, lyrics, video or likeness is used — just the invisible-horse gallop and a counter that breaks.
Does it have sound?
Optionally. Toggle Chiptune on (or press M) and a bouncy original loop plays, generated live with the Web Audio API. It's an original tune, not the meme's song, and starts off until you switch it on.
How do I run it fullscreen?
Click the scene, press Enter Fullscreen or press F. Move the mouse to reveal the Exit Fullscreen and Pause buttons, which hide again after 2.5 seconds, or press Escape to leave. The page does not stop your screen from sleeping, so set the sleep timer to Never if you leave it running.
