What is this?
This is the "All Your Base Are Belong To Us" intro from the 1991 Sega Mega Drive shoot-'em-up Zero Wing, lovingly recreated as a fullscreen browser screensaver. The whole broken-English cutscene types out line by line — the bomb, the signal, the villain CATS appearing on the main screen, and the immortal line itself — then loops forever. It is one of the earliest and most beloved internet memes, born from a gloriously bad English translation.
⚠ This is a fan tribute, not the original ROM. It is a normal web page built in HTML and JavaScript — nothing is downloaded or installed. Press Esc and close the tab to end it.

FAQ — All Your Base Are Belong To Us
What is "All Your Base Are Belong To Us"?
It is a famous internet meme that comes from the broken-English intro of the 1991 Sega Mega Drive game Zero Wing. The villain CATS declares "All your base are belong to us," and the hilariously awkward translation became one of the earliest viral memes, peaking around 2000–2001 in forums, image macros and flash videos.
Is this the real Zero Wing intro?
It is a faithful recreation built from scratch in HTML and JavaScript. The dialogue, the CATS portrait, the bomb and the starfield are all redrawn as a tribute. It is not the original game ROM, and it runs entirely in your browser with nothing to download.
How do I make it fullscreen?
Click anywhere on the cutscene or press Enter Fullscreen. The intro fills the entire display like a real game screen. Move the mouse to show the exit button, or press Escape to leave.
Does it loop forever?
Yes. With Loop forever on, the cutscene replays from "In A.D. 2101, war was beginning" all the way through "For great justice" over and over — a perfect screensaver. Turn looping off and it plays through once and stops.
Can I change the speed and look?
Yes. Pick a scene preset, switch between green and amber retro text, toggle the CATS portrait and the starfield on or off, and use the slider to set how fast the dialogue types out.
Is this free?
Yes, completely free. No account, no ads, no watermark. It is one of 144 free browser-based tools at jasperbernaers.com.
