An original cartoon eyewitness, a flashing BREAKING NEWS banner, a scrolling ticker and an optional original jingle. Four scenes, nothing to install.Choose Newsroom, Remix, VHS or Night, or press 1 to 4. Each scene also sets its own beat (4 for Night, 7 for Remix, 5 for the others).
Drag Beat from 1 to 10 to speed up the eyewitness’s gestures, the ticker and the jingle tempo.
Toggle the Catchphrase chyron (or press C), the News ticker and the Scanlines.
Turn on Auto-tune jingle or press M for a short original loop generated in your browser. Sound is off until you switch it on.
Press Enter Fullscreen, click the screen or press F. Move the mouse for the Exit Fullscreen and Pause buttons; Space pauses, R resets, Esc leaves.

What is the Bed Intruder meme?
In 2010 a local TV news interview with Antoine Dodson in Huntsville, Alabama went viral. The Gregory Brothers, known for their “Auto-Tune the News” videos, turned it into the “Bed Intruder Song”, which went on to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. This screensaver is an original, playful tribute to that auto-tuned news moment.
Does it show the real person or play the real song?
No. The eyewitness on screen is an original cartoon character, not a depiction of any real person, and the optional jingle is an original auto-tune-style tune, not the Bed Intruder Song. No copyrighted footage, likeness or music is used.
Does it have sound?
Optionally. Turn on Auto-tune jingle (or press M) and a short original 16-note melody with a bass line loops, generated live with the Web Audio API. Its tempo follows the Beat slider, it goes quiet while paused, and it is off until you switch it on. It is an original tune, not the charting song.
How do I run it fullscreen?
Click the screen, press Enter Fullscreen or press F. Move the mouse to show the Exit Fullscreen and Pause buttons, which hide again after 2.5 seconds, or press Esc to leave. Where a browser blocks the fullscreen API, the broadcast fills the browser window instead.
