Paste the chords of your song into the chord sheet — copied from a chord website, a ChordPro file or typed as a bar chart. Pick a style and a tempo and press play. Guitar, keys, bass and drums follow your chords, with fills and crashes at every section change.

Three formats, detected automatically. Chords over lyrics, the layout most chord websites use. ChordPro, with chords in square brackets inside the lyrics, like [Am]words. And bar charts such as | Am | F | C G | G7 |. You can mix them in one sheet, and section names like [Chorus] or Verse 2: are recognised too.

With bar lines, every | … | is one bar, and two chords inside one bar split it. Each / or . adds one beat to the chord before it, so C / / / G / / / is a bar of C and a bar of G. Chords written without bar lines, like chords over lyrics, each last the Chord length you choose (one bar by default).

No. Unlike four-chord looper apps, the chart can be as long as the song: any number of chords, sections, repeats, slash chords like C/E, extensions like Cmaj7 or F#m7b5, and N.C. for bars where only the drums play.

Yes, that is what it was made for. Transpose the song until the melody sits well in your range, pick a quieter style like Ballad or Acoustic, and read the lyric line and the next chord from the stage view. Turn on the click if you want to check your timing.

Press ⟲ loop next to a section name to repeat that section, or click one bar and Shift-click another to loop exactly those bars. L switches the loop on or off, and the loop shows as highlighted bars in the chart.

Write the section name on its own line, like [Chorus], after the first chorus. An empty section with the same name as an earlier one plays that earlier section's chords again. Add x2 to a line or a section name to repeat it.

Guitar, keys, bass and drums. Every style picks a fitting line-up: strummed acoustic guitar and piano for pop, crunchy power chords and organ for rock, a reggae skank with an organ bubble, nylon guitar and electric piano for bossa, jazz guitar and Rhodes comping for swing, and so on. Override the guitar (acoustic, nylon, clean, jazz, crunch) and keys (piano, electric piano, organ, strings) yourself, and mute any part to play it yourself.

Yes. The acoustic, nylon and electric guitars, the grand piano and the electric bass are short recordings of real instruments, one per note, played back at the right pitch. Each guitar strum plays every string of a real chord shape one after the other, down or up. Only the notes a song needs are downloaded, and they are cached. If the recordings cannot load, the app falls back to its built-in modelled guitar and piano.

Rich voicings make the band sound fuller. The piano adds colour notes like 9ths and plays with two hands, a second guitar is double-tracked on the other side of the stereo image, and ballads and pop get a soft string pad underneath. Simple plays plain triads and sevenths, which suits rock, country and blues. Auto picks what fits the style.

Share copies a link that contains the whole chord sheet with its style and tempo, so anyone who opens it hears exactly the same song. Nothing is stored on a server. WAV renders the backing track, or only your loop, as an audio file you can play on your phone or import into a DAW.

No. Everything runs in your browser: the sheet is parsed locally, the band is mixed and played with the Web Audio API, and your last song is remembered only in your browser's local storage.

They are optional ChordPro-style directives. Put {tempo: 90}, {style: reggae} or {time: 3/4} anywhere in the sheet and the player picks them up. That is handy when you keep your songs as text files.
