Open Add module and pick a quick set or single modules. Drag a module by its title to move it; ⋯ has settings, width and remove.
Type to open a tile, paste a URL, use a bang such as !yt, or try todo call mum, timer 10, 12*7.
Allow location or search a city once; weather, sun and moon and air quality all use it.
Pick an accent colour, a gradient, your own photo or a daily photo, and your name for the greeting.
Use Set as start page in the menu for steps matched to your browser, or install it as an app.

A free browser start page with widgets, explained
Homescreen is a start page that runs entirely in your browser: tiles for your favourite sites, categories, a smart search bar, local weather and a set of modules (widgets) you can add, resize and rearrange. Below: the modules and where their data comes from, privacy, backups and how to make it the first page you see.

Is it free and private?
Yes. No login, no signup, no ads. Your tiles, modules, notes and settings live only in your browser's localStorage and never touch a server of mine. The online modules fetch public data directly from the sources above, and only after you add them; the weather location is stored in your browser.
How do I make it my first webpage?
Browsers don't let a website set itself as your home page, so use Set as start page in the menu: it detects your browser and lists the exact steps (Chrome and Edge: Settings, On startup, open a specific page; Firefox: Settings, Home, Custom URLs; Safari: Settings, General, Homepage). You can also install it as an app (Chrome, Edge, Safari) so it opens in its own window straight into the search bar, even offline.
Can it replace my new-tab page?
Websites cannot replace the new-tab page. Safari and Brave can open your homepage in new tabs; for Chrome, Edge and Firefox a new-tab redirect extension from the browser's official store can point new tabs at this address.
How are favicons cached?
When you add a site the icon is fetched and, when the source allows it, stored as a data URL inside your saved config, so your homescreen renders instantly and keeps showing icons with no connection.
How do I move it to another device?
Choose Export backup to download a JSON file with your sites, modules and settings, then Import backup in any browser. Keep that file as a backup of your whole setup.
What do the search commands do?
!g Google, !yt YouTube, !w Wikipedia, !gh GitHub, !ddg DuckDuckGo, !a Amazon, !gm Maps send your query to that site. todo …, note … and timer 10 drive the matching modules (they are created if you don't have them yet), and anything that looks like maths is calculated. Without a command, Enter opens the first matching tile, a typed URL, or searches the web with your default engine.
