Design a business card you're proud to hand over
This free business card designer is a full visual editor in your browser: start from one of 22 templates — minimal, corporate, bold, gradient, dark luxury, creative, tech and pastel, in landscape, portrait and square — drop in your logo, restyle the background with solid colors, two-color gradients and subtle patterns, add shapes, icons and symbols, and generate a QR code that links to your site or LinkedIn. Everything is draggable with snap guides, alignment buttons, layers, duplicate and undo/redo — the tools you'd expect from a design app, free.
When it's ready, export a print-ready PDF at 300 DPI with 3 mm bleed and crop marks — exactly what print shops ask for, front and back in one file — or a high-resolution PNG for digital use. Supports EU 85×55 mm, US 3.5×2″ and square formats. Pair it with the email signature generator and the QR code maker for a complete identity kit. 100% client-side: your logo and details never leave your device.
FAQ — free business card designer
Is this business card designer really free?
Yes — completely free, no account, no watermark, no paid tier. Everything runs in your browser and the exports are yours to print anywhere.
How do I use my own logo?
Open the LOGO section and upload a PNG, JPG or SVG (PNG with a transparent background works best). Drag it anywhere and resize from the corner handle. The file is read locally — it never leaves your device.
What do the templates include?
22 designs across styles — minimal, corporate, bold color, gradient, dark luxury, creative, tech/terminal and pastel — including portrait and square layouts. Fill in YOUR DETAILS first, then click a template: your name, title and contact lines are placed automatically and stay fully editable.
How does the QR code work?
Type any URL or text (website, LinkedIn, vCard) and the QR is generated locally and placed on the card. Exports re-render it at print resolution so it stays crisp. Scan-test it with your phone before printing.
Is the PDF really print-ready?
Yes — rendered at 300 DPI with 3 mm bleed and crop marks, front and back as two pages. The background extends into the bleed so no white edges appear after cutting. Keep important text ~4 mm inside the edge.
What is bleed and why do I need it?
Bleed is extra background printed beyond the final card edge (3 mm here). Cutting machines aren't pixel-perfect — bleed guarantees color to the very edge instead of a white sliver. The crop marks show the printer exactly where to cut.
Which card sizes are supported?
EU/international 85 × 55 mm, US 3.5 × 2 in (88.9 × 50.8 mm) and a 55 × 55 mm square — each in landscape or portrait. Pick what your print shop expects; EU is the default.
Can I design the back of the card too?
Yes — switch FRONT / BACK above the canvas. Each side has its own background and elements, and the PDF contains both. Classic combo: details on the front, bold logo or QR on the back.
What editing tools are there?
Drag with live snap guides, alignment buttons (left/center/right/top/middle/bottom), layer reordering, duplicate, undo/redo, zoom, arrow-key nudging (Shift = bigger steps) and Delete. Click any element to open its properties panel.
Are gradients and patterns supported?
Yes — solid or two-color gradient backgrounds at any angle, plus overlay patterns (dots, grid, diagonal, waves) in any color and opacity. Combine with shapes for rich designs.
Is anything uploaded to a server?
No. The editor, your logo, QR generation and both exporters run entirely in your browser. No upload, no account, no trace.
Where should I get the cards printed?
Any online or local print shop accepts the PDF — it follows the standard trim + 3 mm bleed + crop marks convention at 300 DPI. Order a small test batch first and check colors on real paper.
